Do you feel like everything in your life has been heading downhill recently? Good news — so is this run! Well… after a few little uphill moments of character building ( especially for Robbie). Don’t worry, they’re short, sweet, and totally worth the views (and the bragging rights). It’s the kind of course that keeps your legs guessing and your stories interesting.
We will still go ahead with the run if it rains. We choose our winter farms knowing that the weather may change – the ground here is firm and the drainage is excellent.
The 10 km route is challenging (by TrailFun standards), but very achievable. We break up the uphill and downhill into segments to make it easier for you to run.
5 km route is easier with a much gentler hill climbs. Don’t worry, we made this easier for you.

Situated on the Stellenbosch Wine Route, Zevenwacht has viticultural roots which penetrate deep into the historic past of South Africa.
While literally meaning Seven Expectations, the name Zevenwacht exemplifies the abundant delights which await visitors to the Farm.
The name “Zevenwacht”, derived from the Dutch “Seven Expectations” is a modern wine farm with a 300 year history.
